“AI is no longer a thing of the future. We know that its applications are real and incredibly useful. The potential of AI — and our learners — is vast.” - Maureen MacDonald, Dean of SCS
The University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies (SCS) has collaborated with Scale AI to help learners receive funding that can accelerate their path to success. Scale AI, Canada’s AI Supercluster, offers funding, expert guidance, and a community of like-minded peers for AI projects and training. Now, all persons employed in Canada are eligible to receive 50% of the registration fees for accredited AI training courses at SCS.
“AI is no longer a thing of the future. We know that its applications are real and incredibly useful. The potential of AI — and our learners — is vast,” says Maureen MacDonald, Dean of SCS. “By collaborating with Scale AI, we are able to offer learners an exciting opportunity to build and enhance their AI abilities, while providing important financial support. This allows more learners to access and embrace lifelong learning, and supports our deep commitment to equity in education.”
“It’s time to take AI out of the lab and into the real world,” says Julien Billot, CEO of Scale AI. “Training people to harness and build the power of AI is critical for us to see the full potential of this technology. We are excited to help more people access continuing education in this dynamic and important field, and we know that SCS offers cutting edge programs taught by industry experts. By investing in people, we unleash new avenues to strengthen businesses, support the economy, and change the world for the better.”
