ISACA Toronto Chapter

Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT)

The ISACA Toronto Chapter, with 2500 plus members, is ISACA’s largest chapter in Canada, the 5th largest in the world and recognized as one of the most active ISACA chapters globally.  For more than 35 years the ISACA Toronto Chapter has served the Toronto information systems audit, control and governance community.

The Strategic Mission of the ISACA Toronto Chapter is to support the professional development of its members and enhance the benefits of IT governance, control and assurance in the business community. ISACA Operational Mission is to ensure its member's experience with the ISACA Toronto Chapter provides professional development, individual value in the business community and a sense of belonging to a professional organization. They are committed to increasing the awareness of ISACA and enhancing the understanding of the benefits of IT governance, control and assurance in the business community.

CGEIT provides you the credibility to discuss critical issues around governance and strategic alignment, and the traction to consider a move to the C-suite, if you aren’t already there.

CGEIT certification requires:

  • Successful completion of an examination
  • Relevant experience
  • Adherence to the Code of Professional Ethics
  • Adherence to 120 hours of continuing professional education (CPE) is required every 3 years, with a minimum of 20 CPE hours per year.
  • Compliance with respective Standards

Certificate in Strategic Management of Enterprise IT

This certificate will help you develop a holistic and integrated approach to governance and management of enterprise IT. For senior and mid-level business and IT managers, and candidates preparing for ISACA certification, the course content is aligned broadly with the five domains of the CGEIT certification.

To maintain this certification, adherence to 120 hours of continuing professional education (CPE) is required every 3 years, with a minimum of 20 CPE hours per year.
Certificate in Strategic Management of Enterprise IT

The course content is aligned broadly with the five domains of the CGEIT certification. These courses may meet CPE hours for ISACA designations, based on the alignment of your job practice area to the course content.
