Develop your<\/span> language as a tool for use in academic and other environments. The Academic English Online Program takes a theme-based integrated skills approach with attention to and development of all four skill areas: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Emphasis is on the skills and strategies needed to understand and respond to authentic reading and listening texts through writing and speaking. You will engage in tasks that develop your ability to express yourself and successfully interact in a variety of academic settings.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

The online program will be delivered through Canvas, the Learning Management System used at the University of Toronto. To ensure an interactive, engaging, and dynamic online experience, you will be using\u00a0Zoom, Discussion Board, and other interactive tools.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

A grade of B or higher at Level 60 in Academic English satisfies the language proficiency requirement for admission to undergraduate and most graduate programs at the University of Toronto.
