Applied Mindfulness Based Chronic Pain Management (MBCPM™) Facilitator Training

The School of Continuing Studies is proud to partner with the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work (FIFSW) to offer industry leading continuing education courses in human services. This partnership brings together our globally recognized leadership in continuing education and the world-renowned academic leadership of the Faculty. Learn to facilitate courses in MBCPM™with this three-step approach developed in collaboration with NeuroNova Centre. First, you’ll take a five-day course that immerses you in the best practices around managing chronic pain with mindfulness practice. That’s followed by a four-day intensive in curriculum teaching, including one day of silent meditation. After that you’ll spend at least 21 hours online delving further into concepts of neuroplasticity, course development and administration, outcome measurement, distance delivery, ongoing education, mentorship and more.
