Religion

Belief in the sacred has enduring power. As a source of understanding for life, religion speaks to some of the toughest questions we ask ourselves, such as “Who knows me?” or “What is my place in the world?” Our Religion courses explore the dynamic between religious belief and personal freedom, sacred texts and scientific inquiry, and divine revelation and human progress. Among the courses this year, we offer “Reading and Misreading the Bible” , “Religions of the West: Reason and Mystery” and “Atheism, Agnosticism and Apostasy: A Survey of Religious Doubt”.

Click the links below for complete course descriptions, schedules, and information about how to register now.

Don’t miss our University Lecture Series! Leading scholars, thinkers and experts will explore topics of interest to Religion students at the School of Continuing Studies.
