Program Costs & Financial Support
The program costs, assuming completion of all required and optional courses in the certificate include tuition (approximately $4400 to 5400, depending on the number of courses selected) and text books (approximately $1200).
Financial support is available to eligible participants based on demonstrated financial need. It consists of funding through Government of Ontario (Ontario Bridging Participant Assistance Program (OBPAP).
To be considered for financial support, participants will be required to fill a separate application form and provide documents supporting family income (income tax returns etc.). Eligible participants may be able to cover most of the tuition costs through the LIEP program financial support, depending upon the number of courses selected.
Financial need is determined by the LIEP program based on family income, number of dependents, etc. The following tables provide guidelines regarding financial need.
The Family # is the total number of dependents (e.g. self, partner and two dependent children will constitute a family of 4). Max. Income ($) is the combined family income normally eligible for financial support.
