The School of Continuing Studies is committed to helping early- and mid-career professionals who were educated abroad gain traction more quickly in Canada and contribute more effectively to the nation’s prosperity.

Our programs are designed to help internationally educated professionals access the Canadian workplace by sharpening their skills, and helping them earn credentials and certifications in fields that offer promising opportunities.

We provide comprehensive English-language and cross-cultural training through our English Language Program and academic credential assessment by our Comparative Education Service team.

Much of our programming offers networking opportunities, designed to help experienced, well-qualified people apply their proven talent and global perspectives in the Canadian marketplace.

Professional Designations and Accreditations

The School offers certificate programs in many professional areas – such as project management, risk assessment and human resources. We work closely with professional and industry associations, many of which provide certifications that can be very helpful to a newcomer seeking employment. We engage practitioners who are recognized experts in these fields, to develop relevant programs that address marketplace needs. .
