Strategic Leadership Advanced Certificate
The Strategic Leadership Forum recognizes and promotes the Strategic Leadership Advanced Certificate to its membership. The Project Management Institute approves all courses in the Strategic Leadership Certificate for Professional Development Units (PDUs). For leaders wanting to refine their strategic skills, the Strategic Leadership Advanced Certificate enhances leadership ability by addressing purpose, process and passion. These three forces, the three Ps, are at the heart of what strategic leaders do. When brought together, they propel leadership forward and bring clarity to what every successful leader knows: where their organization is headed, how it will get there, and who is going to make it happen. Recognized by the Project Management Institute (PMI) for PMP professional development units and the Strategic Leadership Forum (SLF), this five-course advanced certificate will develop the strategic skills you need to lead with confidence and success and help differentiate you in the marketplace. Specifically, the program will teach you:
- how you can be more effective as a leader and manager armed with greater self-awareness and a personal leadership development plan
- how to increase your personal impact so results will resonate
- how to determine where you want to take your business unit, organization, or idea
- how to build the excitement, commitment, and passion of your people
- how to build an organization with vision and purpose

Certificate Requirements
As of Fall 2009, students must successfully complete five courses to earn this certificate.
Every leadership course ends with a final evaluation that students must pass if they wish to count the course towards certification. A motivated participant could complete the certificate within an 18-month period.
Students have three years from the start date of their first course to complete the certificate.
Please note: Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) may be granted for one course.
Some courses are qualified to get PDUs from PMI.
