The Certificate in Strategic Communications provides managers with the knowledge and professional skills they need to develop effective communication, advertising and media strategies. Whether used globally or in a nonprofit environment, business plans must be managed, targeted carefully and integrated strategically, and it is essential for communications professionals to be critical thinkers, as well as problem solvers. Their challenge is to help their organizations address the complex issues of an increasingly competitive market. In this Certificate program, you will use logic and reason to analyze challenges and to make strategic decisions. You will learn how to think creatively, seek dynamic solutions, take risks and persuade and present your findings confidently and persuasively. You will also learn the importance of conducting systematic analysis, research, and planning prior to the execution of tactics, and to be able to offer a thorough evaluation and measurement of the results.
