Certificate in Marketing Communications

This Certificate in Marketing Communications offers students a cross-disciplinary approach to marketing communications by combining key courses from our certificates in Advertising, Digital Strategy & Communications Management, Strategic Public Relations, Digital Marketing Management, eCommerce/eBusiness Management, and Merchandising.

Certificate Requirements

This certificate requires the successful completion of five courses.

Required Courses

SCS 2125 Tools & Fundamentals of Advertising OR SCS 2123  Creating and Executing Dynamic Advertising Programs
SCS 2117  Creating Consumer-Oriented Merchandising Programs
SCS 2875 Foundations of Digital Communications Strategy and Social Media (replaces SCS 2918 It’s All About Audience )
SCS 2810 Online Business Fundamentals & Strategies*
SCS 2844 Foundations of Digital Marketing Management**

Note: Students have three years from the start date of their first course to complete the certificate.

* SCS 2810 is equivalent to SCS 2115 Tools & Fundamentals of E-Business.
** SCS 2844 is equivalent to SCS 2118 Tools and Fundamentals of Web Marketing
