Certificate in Marketing
(Formerly titled Managing Marketing as Competitive Intelligence)
Marketing drives business. The primary objectives of this certificate are to provide business people and other professionals with the tools and knowledge to develop strategies, technologies, and organizations that drive marketing success. The certificate integrates technology and competitive intelligence in the context of marketing management.
Certificate Requirements
This certificate requires the successful completion of a minimum of six courses: three required and three electives. One of the three electives must be either SCS 2517 Social CRM, From Marketing and Business Intelligence to Social Media, SCS 0027 Database Marketing or SCS 0946 International Marketing .

Notes: Students have three years from the start date of their first course to complete the certificate.
In addition, credit will be given for any combination of electives up to one full course from the Strategic Communication Certificate.
Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) may be granted for two courses. These can be required or elective courses.
