Certificate in Digital Strategy & Communications Management

Social networks and digital communications are an integral part of strategic communications, marketing and PR. And yet with the proliferation of platforms – including blogs, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, podcasts, location-based apps and mobile – it’s more difficult than ever for professionals to keep up with the trends.

Now communications professionals and marketers can stay ahead of the curve and gain a deep understanding of the changing digital and social media landscape. University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies is offering a unique three-course certificate that combines a high level strategic approach with hands-on exposure to the tools.

Classes will be led by experienced practitioners, professionals who are immersed in both traditional and digital communications to offer students a real-time perspective and the most up to date instruction.

Certificate Requirements

  • This certificate requires the successful completion of the 3 required courses.
  • Students have two years from the start date of their first course to complete the certificate.
  • Prior Learning Assessments (PLA) may be granted for one course SCS2875 Foundations in Digital Communications Strategy and Social Media.
