Mini-Med School
Mini-Med School at the University of Toronto is a series of lectures presenting current issues in health science. Five evening presentations with Q & A feature dynamic speakers on topics of interest to us all. Mini-Med School is held at the St George Campus in the fall, and at the Mississauga campus in the spring.
Satisfy your curiosity about health science and develop your ability to navigate the sea of health-related information that has flooded television, the internet and print media. As a participant, you will become:
* a more informed patient,
* a better care-giver,
* a more competent guardian of your own physical well-being,
* more aware of important resources, and
* more skilled in critically appraising the headlines.
The Faculty of Medicine and the School of Continuing Studies have partnered to offer Mini-Med School at the University of Toronto on both the St George and the Mississauga campuses. Visit the registration page for the list of speakers as the names become available: SCS 2000 Mini Med School. Registration is now open. Check back often for updates.
